About the Company

Yesim is an international product IT company operating in the eSIM and digital connectivity space.
We build digital-first eCommerce platforms for online sales of eSIM plans and subscription-based products for a global audience.

Yesim s web platforms are part of the core product infrastructure and are developed by an in-house engineering team using WordPress and Shopify.
The focus is on performance, scalability, multi-region support, and stable user purchase flows for digital products.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior WP / Shopify / eCommerce Developer to join our in-house development team working on web and eCommerce platforms.

You will become part of the core engineering team and contribute to the development of platforms built on WordPress and Shopify that support digital product sales.

The role involves close collaboration with product, marketing, and analytics teams, with clear engineering ownership over architecture, performance, reliability, and scalability of solutions.

Role focus includes:

• development and maintenance of WordPress- and Shopify-based platforms

• stable and scalable purchase and subscription flows

• performance, security, and technical SEO

• multi-language and multi-region architecture

You will make technical decisions that directly affect platform stability, user experience, and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and scale platforms built on WordPress and Shopify

• Customize themes, plugins, and Shopify apps

• Implement and optimize pricing, checkout, and subscription flows

• Integrate payment systems, analytics, CRM, and marketing tools

• Optimize performance, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO

• Support A/B testing and conversion optimization initiatives

• Ensure platform security and stability

• Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and analytics teams

• Support multi-language and multi-region architecture

Requirements

Must-have:

• 2+ years of commercial experience with WordPress and Shopify

• Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

• Experience with custom development for WordPress and Shopify

• Understanding of digital eCommerce and subscription-based models

• Experience integrating payment systems and analytics tools

• Understanding of performance optimization and SEO principles

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of results

Nice-to-have:

• Experience working in eCommerce

• Understanding of CRO and UX principles

• Experience with headless or API-first approaches

• Experience supporting high-traffic platforms

• Basic backend or DevOps knowledge

Languages

• Russian C1+
