Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Predictive & Prescriptive Modeling)

Project duration: 12 months
Location: Frequent business trips to UAE during the first 3 months (pilot phase): either 2 weeks on-site / 1 week home, or 4 8 weeks continuous stay.
Start date: October 2025 ASAP

We are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer with strong expertise in time-series forecasting and decision-support modeling. The project involves de velo ping predictive and prescriptive models, integrating diverse data sources, and deploying modular components into production systems.

Responsibilities:

• De velo p and deploy AI/ML forecasting models based on time-series data;
• Implement prescriptive analytics, simulation, and optimization models for complex dynamic systems;
• Build explainable and transparent models using methods such as LIME, SHAP, and uncertainty quantification;
• Integrate and benchmark models within modular architectures and back-end systems;
• Collaborate with data engineers and domain experts to design scalable pipelines and production workflows;
• Ensure reproducibility, documentation, and quality control of model outputs.

Requirements

• Proven experience de velo ping forecasting and simulation models in real-world projects, with time series data;
• Advanced proficiency in Python ML stack: TensorFlow or PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, numpy;
• Experience with prescriptive modeling frameworks: Pyomo, Gurobi, SimPy, or other optimization/simulation tools;
• Strong background in time-series modeling, feature engineering, and ensemble methods;
• Knowledge of model deployment, scalability, and soft wa re engineering best practices;
• Ability to handle heterogeneous datasets and integrate them into unified analytical workflows.
